Salon X Bess Workshop And Demondstation In Taipei

In October, we travelled to Taiwan to host a series of floral workshops at Salon — sharing the beauty and uniqueness of Australian native wildflowers with a new audience. Surrounded by the energy and creativity of Taipei, we spent the week making bouquets inspired by the Australian landscape, using flowers grown on our family farm and from growers across the country. Each bouquet made at Salon reflected the spirit of BESS: natural, textural, and full of life — shaped by the wild beauty of Australia and the artistry found in every maker’s hand. 

Alongside our bouquet workshop, we also held a demonstration combining Australian native flowers with local Taiwanese ingredients, exploring how two distinct botanical worlds could come together in sculptural table centrepieces and contemporary floral forms.

The experience was an inspiring exchange — a celebration of creativity, culture, and connection through flowers.
