Garden series is an ongoing edition of painted forms by Sydney ceramic artist Tom Mason, developed through wheel-throwing, painting, assembling and firing in his Paddington studio. Vessel forms and sculptural compositions come together through traditional ceramic processes, experimental assembly, firing and kiln chemistry.
The series explores gesture through sunlight, flowers, gardens and rain. Floral forms appear and dissolve across curved surfaces, rendered through glaze, colour and repeated brushwork. The works move between open fields of sky and garden, large flowers, smaller fragments of petals, leaves, wet surfaces and garden detail.

BESS Flower Delivery Guide
Same-Day Delivery
We offer same-day delivery across Sydney for orders placed before 12pm, Monday to Saturday. Orders placed after 12pm will be delivered the next business day.
Please note, we’re closed on Sundays and don’t offer delivery or pick-up on that day.

For unit or apartment deliveries, a recipient phone number is essential. It’s also helpful for all deliveries, in case the courier needs to get in touch.
Want us to call ahead to check if someone’s home? Just let us know in the notes.
If No One Is Home
If the recipient isn’t home, the courier will:
Leave the flowers safely at the door, if there’s a sheltered spot out of view or Leave them with a concierge or at the apartment door, if accessible Either way, we’ll let the recipient know where the flowers were left.
Who Delivers
All our flowers are delivered by trusted, flower-only couriers who handle every bouquet with care and attention.
Delivery Timing
Business deliveries are made between 9am and 5pm. For all other orders, we aim to deliver as early as possible, depending on the courier's run for the day.
If you have any timing requests, pop them in the notes section at checkout – our couriers usually need a 3-hour delivery window.
Redelivery
If there’s no safe place to leave the flowers, and we can’t reach the recipient or sender, the flowers will come back to the shop.
We’ll arrange redelivery once we’ve got more info – just note that additional fees may apply.
Order within the next 2 hours 35 minutes for delivery today. (orders before midday)
Orders placed after 12pm will arrive tomorrow or on your chosen delivery date. (orders after midday)
